I will keep thinking about Madeleine and Christians wedding for years to come. We met briefly at a wedding expo and later met about me photographing their wedding day. They commented on wanting natural photos with a true to color style and someone with a ability to capture the real moments… Lets just say they spoke me lauguage!
We connected more during their engagement session over a shared love of board games and being cat parents and I LOVED how they managed to bring some of those things into their wedding day too.
This day was action packed! From a extra dress change, first looks, private vows, and tons of time for guest photos; a precise timeline was super important.
We went over every little detail planning out enough time to make sure everything they dreamed of happened seamlessly.
I’m a huge fan of the Legacy and think it’s the perfect venue to make every guest happy. The ability to be inside or enjoy the patio is done so beautifully there.
Madeleine and Christians wedding guests got to enjoy tons of amazing food from Zambistros catering, a packed dance floor with Whirlin Disc and even a live painter!
It’s hard for me to pick favorite moments from this day but I loved Madeleines second dress change and that she wore her mothers veil. I loved her grandma hitting the dance floor and seeing multiple generations of amazing ladies having the best time.
Really that is what it’s all about for me. That after months of planning the moments that really matter are the unexpected ones. The love of family and friends and all the moments in between.
I’m so grateful to have been chosen to capture such a special day!
